Brendan Seman, Baseball
(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University baseball player Brendan Seman is being recognized in this week's Cougar Spotlight.
Seman, a red-shirt junior from Sterling Heights, was on fire in last weekend's four-game series sweep over the Cincinnati-Clermont Cougars. He would go 8/15 (.533 avg.) with 8 RBI, 3 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases. He also had 4 extra base hits, including 3 doubles and 1 home run.
Seman also earned his first win on the mound, throwing a 7-inning complete game shutout with 4 strikeouts and 4 hits allowed.
The sweep helped Cleary get back to 4-4 overall, and the Cougars will be back on the road this weekend when they travel to Union Commonwealth University to take on the Bulldogs in a four game series.
