18 Cleary Student-Athletes Named 2024 Daktronics NAIA Winter Scholar-Athletes

(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University is proud to announce that eighteen of its winter sport student-athletes have earned recognition from the NAIA, and have been named 2024-25 Daktronics NAIA Winter Sport Scholar-Athletes.
This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the winter sports who have excelled academically, including men's basketball, women's basketball, men's bowling, women's bowling, and men's wrestling. *Track & Field is recognized as part of the spring honors, and ACHA Hockey does not fall under the supervision of the NAIA*
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards.
Men's Bowling had six student-athletes receive the honor: seniors Corey Goldsmith and Reis Stine, junior Ethan Parker, and sophomores Hunter Blackhurst, Howie Hammond, and Matthew Radjewski
Women's Bowling had three student-athletes receive the honor: seniors Samantha Dulz and Amy Jackson, and sophomore Courtney Witten
Men's Basketball had two receive the honor: junior Nick Moore and sophomore Chris Williams
Women's Basketball had seven receive the honor: seniors Amy Jackson, Riley Merryfield, Mileisha Rodriguez, Taedom Stein, and Rylee Thomas, and sophomores Caitlyn Rayl and Amelia Storm
Cleary University is exceptionally proud of these student-athletes for their hard work and dedication in the classroom.
