WHAC Coaches Predict Baseball Will Finish Tied for Seventh
(Howell, MI)-- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has released it's 2025 Baseball preseason coaches poll, and the Cougars were picked tied for 7th place by the WHAC coaches.
The defending regular season champion UNOH Racers were picked to win the league, earning 10 out of a possible 13 first place votes. Defending WHAC tournament champion Indiana Tech was picked 2nd, earning the remaining 3 first place votes. Concordia, Lawrence Tech, and Madonna round out the top-five.
Cleary went 16-30 last season, and 13-19 in the WHAC, finishing in 10th place. The Cougars will open up the 2025 campaign with a four game series at Pikeville in Pikeville, Kentucky on February 7 and February 8. Cleary will make their Lake Trust Stadium debut on Saturday, March 8, when they host the NCAA D3 Alma College Scots in a double-header, and will play their first WHAC home double-header on Friday, March 21 against the Defiance College Yellow Jackets.
