Cleary Picked 5th in WHAC's Rocket League Preseason Coaches Poll
(Howell, MI)-- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced the 2024 Rocket League preseason coaches poll, and Cleary has been picked to finish in 5th place.
The WHAC has an expanded field in eSports this season, with the addition of Defiance College as a permanent member, and Saint Xavier and Bethel joining the conference as affiliate members. The twelve total teams make this the most teams to feature in eSports in the WHAC's history.
The defending Rocket League champion, Rochester Christian, claimed 8 first place votes and was picked to repeat as champions. Last year's runner up, Indiana Tech, claimed 4 first place votes, and was picked second. WHAC newcomer Saint Xavier earned 109 preseason points, and was picked third, while Indiana Tech earned 108 points, and was picke fourth. Cleary earned 95 preseason points to claim the fifth place preseason ranking.
