Men's Basketball Drops Exhibition at NCAA D1 Duquesne
(Pittsburgh, PA)-- The Cleary Cougar men's basketball team played their final game of the 2023 calendar year, as they took on the NCAA D1 Duquesne University Dukes in an exhibition matchup in Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon.
The Dukes took control of the game from the opening tip and never looked back, as the hosts built a 53-19 halftime lead, and ultimately won the game by a 95-47 scoreline.
Cleary had 10 players score points, and were led by Chris Williams, who tallied a team high 8 poiknts and 2 rebounds. Bennie Crenshaw Jr. and Ashton Tomassi each had 7 points, while Brockton Kohler added 6 points. Case Conley had a team high 6 rebounds in the game.
Cleary will return to Michigan, and WHAC play, with a matchup with the Cornerstone Golden Eagles on Wednesday, January 3. The game will be played at Gannon Gymnasium on the campus of Lansing Community College, and will begin at 7:30 PM.
