After a game opening three pointer by Lourdes, Tyree Jones got the Cougars on the board with a mid-range jump shot to cut the lead. Lourdes would then go on an 8-1 run to expand their lead before Cleary answered with a 8-2 run of their own to make the score 10-13. The Gray Wolves would respond, retaking their double-digit lead. The game would remain within 15 points for most of the second half, but the Cougars would run out of gas down the stretch, allowing Lourdes to claim a 77-54 victory.
