Cougars Bowl at WHAC's 2nd Jamboree

(Allen Park, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's bowling team competed today at the WHAC #2 jamboree, hosted at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, MI.
In the Men's Tournament:
- Alexander Lewis led the way, with a 4-game series of 718 to finish in 14th place
- Justin Perdue finished in 17th, after knowcking down 715 pins in his 4-game series
- Corey Goldsmith bowled a 635 to finish in 30th place
- Trevor Cockerill finished in 44th, and bowled a 460 in three games
- Justin de Bont bowled in two games, and knocked down 346 pins to finish in 54th
As a team, Cleary finished in 10th place after Baker games, with 5,590 total pins knocked down.
In the Women's Tournament:
- Samantha Dulz led the way with another strong showing, as she bowled a 683 over 4 games to finish in 12th place
- Leigha Rue would finish in 36th place, as she bowled a 602 in her series
- Jamie Crandell and Carman McMahon finished in 41st and 42nd, after bowling a 571 and 547 respectively
- Erica Pyden rounded out the Cougar scores with a series of 534
As a team, Cleary finished in 10th place after Baker games, with 5,297 pins knocked down.
Both teams will be back in action next weekend, when they travel to Dayton, Ohio to bowl in the Roto Grip Raider Classic on Saturday and Sunday.
