Men's and Women's Bowling Both Have Strong Showings at WHAC's Third Jamboree

(Sterling Heights, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's bowling teams returned to action Saturday, as they bowled in the WHAC #3 Jamboree at 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights.
In the Men's Tournament:
- Ryan Ching bowled a 3-game series of 159-207-244 and finished in 28th place with a total of 610 pins to lead the Cougars
- AJ Clark was five spots behind Ching, and bowled a 197-213-182 series to finish in a tie for 33rd with a 592
- Also in a tie for 33rd was Howie Hammond, who bowled 254-210-128 for a total of 592
- Ethan Parker was the highest finishing JV bowler, with games of 177-189-225 to total 591, and finishing in 36th
- Finishing in 45th was Justin Perdue, who bowled games of 201-166-206 to total 573 pins
As a team, Cleray knocked down 5,735 pins and finished in 7th place, just six pins behind 6th place UM-Dearborn.
In the Women's Tournament:
- Earning a 6th place finish was Hailee Hale, who bowled games of 210-170-258 to knock down 638 total pins
- In 12th was Sam Dulz, who bowled a 613 series with games of 170-258-185
- Olivia Solomon finished in 40th with games of 164-169-199
- Michelle Scopone would knock down 524 pins with games of 217-163-144 to finish in 42nd
As a team, Cleary knocked down 5,863 pins and finished in 4th place overall.
Cleary will next be in action on December 18-21, when they bowl in two tournaments in Las Vegas, Nevada.
