Women's Bowling Finishes 29th; Men 62nd at Tier-One Hoosier Classic
(Indianapolis, IN)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's bowling teams were in Indianapolis Saturday and Sunday for one of the nation's largest bowling tournaments, the Hoosier Classic.
In the Men's Meet:
- AJ Clark had the high score for the Cougar men, with games of 179-181-212-213-176 to total 961 pins, and finished in 150th
- With games of 200-164-186-157-179 was Corey Goldsmith, who finished in 203rd
- Finishing in 385th was Ethan Parker, who bowled four games with scores of 161-181-196-204
- Bryce Owens bowled in three games, and had scores of 178-173-170
- Justin Perdue also bowled in three games, with scores of 176-192-126
As a team, Cleary knocked down 4,517 pins in individual games, and 2,699 pins in Baker games to total 7,216 pins to finish in 62nd place out of 78 teams
In the Women's Meet:
- Olivia Solomon finished in 96th, with a five-game series of 194-217-159-200-169 to total 939 pins
- Samantha Dulz would bowl games of 181-210-170-180-193 to finish in 101st
- Finishing in 136th was Courtney Witten, who bowled games of 187-177-177-149-195
- With games of 168-179-170-159-188, Hailee Hale finished in 149th
- Brianna Swickard bowled in four games, with games of 128-157-161-121, and finished in 278th
As a team, Cleary knocked down 4,343 in individual games, and 2,960 in Baker games, to total 7,313 pins, finishing in 29th place out of 66 teams
Both teams will be back in action this Saturday, February 22, when they bowl in the WHAC Championships at JAX60 in Jackson, MI.
