Track and Field Produces Solid Performances at Concordia Legacy Meet
(Ann Arbor, MI)-- Both the Men's and Women's Track and Field teams competed in the Concordia Legacy Invitational in Ann Arbor on Saturday afternoon. The Men earned a 9th place finish with 13.00 points, while the Women did not earn a team score.
On the women's side, Mikaela Casey earned 11th place in the discus, throwing 23.91 m. Casey also earned 11th place in the shot put, throwing 9.21 m.
On the men's side, Victor Davis took home 4th place in the 3000 meter Steeplechase with a time of 12:46:16. Ethan Beres earned 5th place in the 1500 m with a time of 4:36.21, and Joel Hartleb placed 12th in the 1500 m with a time of 5:04.61.
Cleary's best finish on the day came in the 800 m run as Camden Staples finished in 3rd with a time of 2:05.79, just .1 seconds ahead of the 4th place finisher. Also competing in the 800 m were Josh Bonner (2:16.87), Joel Hartleb (2:35.43), and Johnny Schiavi (2:41.80).
The last event of the day was the 4 x 400 m relay and Cleary finished in 6th place with a time of 3:59.88.
