Both Cougar Track & Field Teams Earn 4th Place Team Finish at Flaminio Invite

(Grand Rapids, MI)-- The Cleary men's and women's track & field teams both competed this weekend, running at the John Flaminio Invitational, hosted by Aquinas College on Friday.
In the Men's Meet:
- Matthew Booth ran a 25.27 in the 200 M dash to finish in 8th place, and a 55.82 in the 400 M dash to finish in 5th place.
- Alex Misniakiewicz ran a 2:15.33 to finish in 3rd place in the 800 M, and Ryan Bisard ran a 2:26.05 to finish in 6th place in the same event. Joel Hartleb ran a 2:26.46 to finish in 7th place, helping the Cougars earn 10 total points for the team in the event.
- Ethan Beres ran a 5:02.98 to finihs in 6th place in the 1 mile run.
- Isaac McComb threw 12.04 m in the shot put to earn 2nd place, and threw 9.88 m in the weight throw to finish in 2nd place.
The Cleary men earned a total of 43 points to finish in 4th place on the day
In the Women's Meet:
- K'Neil Dawkins ran a 32.35 in the 200 M to finish in 9th place, while teammate Georgia Price ran a 34.64 to finish in 10th place.
- Jillian Clark ran a 1:15.55 to finish in 7th place in the 400 M, and a 3:05.54 to finish in 2nd place in the 800 M.
- Mikaela Casey threw 10.39 m to finish in 4th place in the shot put, and threw 9.68 m in the weight throw to finish in 8th place.
The Cleary women earned a total of 27 points to finish in 4th place on the day.
Both teams will be back in action this Friday, when they participate in the Hillsdale College Invite. The action starts at 12:00 PM.
