Cougar Indoor Track & Field Competes at Hillsdale College Invite

(Hillsdale, MI)-- The Cleary Cougars Indoor Track & Field made the trip to south central Michigan to compete in the Hillsdale College Invite, and had many positives to take away.
In the Men's Meet:
- Isaac McComb finished 4th in the shot put after throwing 12.48 m
- McComb finished 6th in the weight throw with a distance of 6.81 m
- Ethan Beres finished 5th in the 5000 m with a time of 16:48.83
- Isaac McComb ran in the 60 m dash, and finished in 9th place after running a 7.69
- Three Cougars ran in the men's 1600 m, and Anthony White finished in 9th (4:51.57), Joel Hartleb finished in 10th (5:08.65), and Stephen Bisard finished in 11th (5:28.14)
- Matt Booth (55.83) and Alex Misniakiewicz (57.52) finished in 5th and 6th in the men's 400 m
- Anthony White (2:16.90) and Joel Hartleb (2:25.81) finished in 9th and 10th respectively in the men's 800 m
- Nick Floyd took home 5th in the men's 200 m with a time of 26.70
In the Women's Meet:
- Mikaela Casey finished 12th in the weight throw with a distance of 6.60 m
- Casey also finished 10th in the shot put with a distance of 9.91 m
- Lauren Gores finished in 9th in the 1600 m run with a time of 6:27.78
- K'Neil Dawkins finished in 6th in the 400 m (1:13.36), while teammates Jillian Clark (1:14.62) and Georgia Price (1:20.54) finished in 7th and 8th respectively
- Laruen Gores finished in 9th place in the women's 800 m with a time of 2:58.93
- K'Neil Dawkins ran a 32.28 in the women's 200 m
Both teams will be back in action next Friday, February 4th, when they head to Ypsilanti Lincoln High School to run in the Red, White, and Blue Track Classic, hosted by Concordia University. The action will start at 3:30 pm.
