Cougars Set School and Personal Records at Concordia Legacy

(Ann Arbor, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar track & field teams competed in the Concordia Legacy Invitational this past Friday and Saturday, and four personal records were set to go with two new school records.
In the Men's Meet:
- Donovan White finished in 12th place in the 400 M, with a time of 54.29
- Three Cougars had strong showings in the 800 M, with Ethan Beres running a 2:12.97 to finish in 7th, Alex Misniakiewicz running a 2:17.93 to finish in 12th, and Joel Hartleb running a 2:24.81 to finish in 17th.
- Joel Hartleb finished in 23rd in the 1500 M with a time of 4:52.24
- Victor Davis had another strong showing in the 400 M hurdles, with a time of 1:02.41 to finish in 2nd
- Donovan White finished in 2nd in the steeplechase, with a time of 10:18.63
- Ethan Beres finished in 3rd, and set a new personal record in the 5K, with a time of 16:19.62
- The 4 x 400 M relay team of Victor Davis, Isaac McComb, Matt Booth, and Nick Floyd finished in 4th with a time of 50.03
- Nick Floyd set two school records in the javelin and the high jump. He threw the javelin 50.45 M to finish in 4th place, and jumped 1.94 M to finish in 5th in the high jump.
- Isaac McComb set a new personal record in the javelin, with a throw of 47.40 M, to finish in 6th place.
- Isaac McComb threw the shot put 11.97 M to finish in 11th, and threw the discus 27.77 M to finish in 16th.
In the Women's Meet:
- Lauren Gores won the 5K, and set a new personal record, running a 19:27.12
- Jillian Clark ran a 1:25.79 in the 400 Hurdles to finish in 4th place
- Mikaela Casey threw the shot put 10.60 M to finish in 10th place, which was a new personal record.
- Mikaela Casey finished in 18th place in the discus with a throw of 23.10 M
Both track & field teams will be back in action this Thursday and Friday, when they compete in the WHAC Championships hosted by Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
