Cougar Track & Field Opens Spring Schedule at Spring Arbor

(Spring Arbor, MI)-- It was a chilly couple of days for the Cleary Cougar men's and women's track & field teams, but the team's were able to provide four personal records at the Bill Bippes Cougar Classic hosted by Spring Arbor University on Friday and Saturday last week.

In the Women's Meet:

• Lauren Gores set a PR in the 1500 M witha  time of 5:27.95 to finish in a tie for 6th
• Mikaela Casey threw a 10.02 M shot put to finish in 8th place

In the Men's Meet:

• Isaac McComb finished in 9th in the 100 M with a time of 12.07
• Camden Staples finished in 14th in the 400 M with a time of 56.42
• Anthony White finished in 10th in the 800 M with a time of 2:05.99
• Joel Hartleb set a PR in the 1500 M with a time of 4:51.21
• Ethan Beres set a PR in the 10,000 M with a time of 33:49.89 to finish in 3rd place
• Victor Davis ran an 18.18 in the 110 M hurdles to finish in 8th place
• The 4 X 800 M relay team of Anthony White, Alex Misniakiewicz, Camden Staples, and Steven Bisard ran an 8:50.76 to finish in 3rd place.  
• Isaac McComb finished in 11th in the shot put with a throw of 11.59 M
• Isaac McComb also threw the discus, and finished in 13th place after throwing 26.00 M
• Isaac McComb set a PR in the javelin throw, with a distance of 34.10 M to finish in 11th place. 
• Nick Floyd finished in 1st in the high jump, after jumping 1.85 M
