Indoor Track Competes at Hillsdale Wide Track Classic

(Hillsdale, MI) — The Cleary Cougar track & fields competed in the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic this past Saturday. They competed amongst athletes from the NAIA as well as the NCAA, NJCAA, and Ontario University Athletics (OUA).

In the Men's Meet: 

• In the men's 1 mile run, Anthony White finished with a time of 4:51.03.
• Joel Hartleb and Logan Betke also competed in the 1 mile run, finishing with times of 5:13.31 and 6:31.40, respectively.
• Ethan Beres ran in the 3000 meter event, and finished with a time of 9:44.23.
• Beres went on to also run in the 5000 meter event and aded a time of 16:42.03 for the Cougars.

In the Women's Meet:

• Mikaela Casey competed for the women's team in the shot put event, finishing in 9th place and throwing for 10.99 meters.
• Casey also competed in the weight throw event and threw for 10.10 meters.

On February 10th, the Cougar track and field teams will be back in action as they compete in the WHAC vs. MIAA Challenge.
