Track & Field Competes at SHU Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational

(Adrian, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar track & field teams competed at the Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational last Friday, and continued to make strides of improvement.

In the Men's Meet:

Niguel-Ali Curney finished in 28th in the 100 M after running 11.51. He would take 39th in the 200 M after running a 24.07
In the 400 M, Camden Staples ran a 56.94 to finish in 37th
Anthony White took 45th in the 800 M with a time of 2:05.93
In the 1500 M, Logan Betke ran 5:48.82 to finish in 71st
In the 5000 M, Ethan Beres took 14th, while Joel Hartleb took 23rd with times of 16:25.81 and 17:14.72, respectively
The 4x400 M relay team of Anthony White, Matt Booth, Christian Hammond, and Camden Staples finished in 8th with a time of 3:42.28

In the Women's Meet:

Osheiauna Phifer ran a 15.29 in the 100 M to finish in 37th
Jillian Clark finished in 61st in the 800 M after running a 3:16.52
Lauren Gores took 7th in the 5000 M after running a 19:04.7
In the shot put, Mikaela Casey threw 33'11.5" to finish in 19th
Amelia Jason threw 61'1" in the javelin to take 34th
