Cleary Places Three Total Runners in Top 5 at Concordia Invitational

(Ann Arbor, MI)— The men's and women's cross country teams traveled to WHAC rival, Concordia University, to race in the Cardinal Invitational today.
In the women's race:
- Lauren Gores finished in 3rd place for the Cougars today with a 6k time of 21:09.1. She was the only cougar to run in the women's race, resulting in no team score.
In the men's race:
- Leading the men's team with an 8k time of 27:33.5 was Donovan White finishing 3rd overall in the race.
- Finishing next for the Cougars was Ethan Beres with a 5th place finish and a time of 27:37.9.
- Coming in back-to-back for a 9th and 10th place finish was Camden Staples and Joel Hartleb with times of 29:58.6 and 30:10.5, respectively
- Alex Misniakiewicz would follow them with a 16th place finish and a time of 32:14.7.
- Wrapping it up for the men's team was Stephen Bisard and Logan Betke with a time of 36:35.9 and 37:41.7, and a 20th and 21st place finish.
The men's team finished 2nd overall with a team time of 2:27:35.
Up Next: The cross country teams wrap up their regular season next weekend at the NAIA Challenge in Grand Rapids on Saturday, October 22nd.
