Cross Country Runs at Northwood Invite; Men Take Eighth

(Midland, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's cross country teams ran their second meet of the season Saturday, as they ran in the Northwood Invitational.

In the Men's Race:

• Donovan White finished in 58th place with a time of 20:22.9 to lead the Cougars
• Preston Mackenzie would run a 21:01.8 to finish in 75th
• Hunter Anderson finished in 83rd with a time of 21:25.7
• Running a 21:42.1 was Mason Wildie, who finished in 89th
• Joel Hartleb would run a 22.49.6 to finish in 98th
• Camden Staples would run a 23.04.5 to finish in 100th
• Logan Betke ran a 23:58.6, while Devin Mackenzie would run a 25.18.9 to round out the Cougar runners

Cleary would run a total of 1:47:23, and finished in 8th place, and was the third best NAIA team at the meet.

Cleary did not enter any women into the women's race.

Cleary will be back in action next Friday, September 13, when they run in the Raider-Knight Invite, hosted by Grand Rapids Community College and Calvin College.
