Softball Picked 11th in WHAC Preseason Coaches Poll

(Howell, MI)-- The Wolverin-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has released it's 2024 softball preseason coaches poll, and Cleary has been picked to finish in 11th place.

Concordia was picked to finish in first place with 136 points and 7 first place votes.  Defending regular season champion Indiana Tech and defending tournament champion Madonna each earned 127 points, and were picked tied for second place.  Indiana Tech received 3 first place votes to Madonna's 1.  UNOH received the final first place vote, and was picked to finish fourth with 111 points.

Cleary will open up the 2024 season on Friday, February 9 and February 10, when they play a pair of games vs. the Trinity Christian University Trolls and University of the Cumberlands Patriots in Williamsburg, Kentucky.  The games next weekend will also be the first for new head coach Jamey Lobdell.  For the complete softball schedule, and all Cleary Athletics news and updates, go to www.clearycougars.com.
