(Kokomo, IN)-- The Cleary Cougar women's basketball team hit the road for their second game of the season, but came up short, falling to the Indiana University at Kokomo Cougars 76-39 Sunday afternoon.
IU-Kokomo's offense scored at least 17 points in each quarter, while Cleary's offense struggled to get things going, as the host Cougars dominated the game.
Amy Jackson put together Cleary's first ever double-double, men's or women's, as she had 11 points and 10 rebounds. She also added 3 steals in the game. Mileisha Rodriguez added 8 points, while Taedom Stein and Ameilia Storm each added 6 points for Cleary.
Cleary is now 0-2 on the season, and will be back in action next Saturday, November 11, when they travel to Mount Vernon, Ohio to take on Mount Vernon Nazarine in a non-conference matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM ET.
