(Lansing, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar women's basketball team welcomed the Indiana Tech Warriors to Gannon Gymnasium for their first ever home game Tuesday evening, and the Warriors flexed their muscles early and often to take the game.
The Warriors would use a strong rebounding performance, especially on the offensive side of the glass, to build a double-digit lead that they held into halftime. That performance would continue into the second half without a Cougar run to cut into deficit, as Indiana Tech went on to win by a 68-48 margin.
Taedom Stein was the scoring leader for the Cougars, as she tallied a 17 point 7 rebound performance. Amy Jackson added 10 points and 5 rebounds, while Mileisha Rodriguez posted 8 points and 8 rebounds in the game.
Cleary drops to 0-5, 0-2 in the WHAC. The Cougars will enjoy Thanksgiving before returning to Gannon Gymnasium next Tuesday to take on the Aquinas College Saints in a WHAC matchup. The game is set to begin at 5:30 PM.
