Women's Basketball Picked to Finish in 10th by Coaches in Preseason Poll

(Howell, MI)-- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has released it's 2024-25 Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll, and Cleary has been picked to finish in 10th place.

Three-time defending champion Indiana Tech earned 12 first place votes, and was picked to finish in first place overall.  Cornerstone was picked second, while Concordia earned 1 first place vote and was tabbed to finish in third.  Rochester Christian and Siena Heights round out the top-five.

Cleary went 6-22 overall, and 6-16 in the WHAC in it's first ever season of competitive action.  The Cougars will open the season with a pair of home games, as they take on the Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars at 2:00 on Friday, October 25, and then take on the St. Francis Fighting Saints on Saturday, October 26, at 1:00 PM.  Both games will be played at Gannon Gymnasium on the campus of Lansing Community College.
