Coach Jerry Wallace was named as the women's basketball assistant coach on Monday, June 26, 2023.

Coach Wallace has worked his way up the coaching ranks since his first season in 2017.  His most recent coaching assignment was at Howell High School, where Coach Wallace was the assistant coach under then head coach Tom Olszewski.  Coach Wallace helped the Highlanders to a district championship in the 2022-23 season, and a KLAA West Division championship and KLAA runner-up in the 2021-22 season.

Prior to his time at Howell, Coach Wallace was the boys' assistant coach and JV assistant coach at Canton High School from 2018-2020.  Wallace helped the Chiefs to a KLAA West and KLAA Championship in the 2018-19 season.  Canton's season ended prematurely in the 2020 season due to the COVID pandemic, with the team having clinched a spot in the district championship.

Coach Wallace's first coaching position was as the freshman boy's basketball coach at South Lyon East High School for the 2017-18 season.  Wallace's Cougars went 19-1 during his only season at the helm.

A native of Utica, Ohio, Coach Jerry Wallace served in the United States Air Force from 2009-2015.  After serving, he moved to Howell in 2015, where he still resides.  Coach Wallace has two daughters: Adelynn and Kayleigh.
