(Marshall, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Women's Golf team returned to the course this weekend at the Olivet University Kyle Campbell Memorial Invitational. The women would play 18-hole rounds over the two-day event. 

  • Jana L'Esperance led the Cougars over the two days. She would shoot +7 in both rounds for a total of +14, tying her for 7th place overall. 

  • Jessica Shay tied for 18th overall with round scores of +9 and +8. 

  • Lauryn Jerke finished +31 over the two days after round scores of +15 and +16. She would place 47th overall. 

  • Madeline Swett tied for 61st overall with a +39 on the weekend. 

  • Alexis Sharplin finished with a +40 over the two days to tie for 65th overall. 

  • Emma Smith would be entered for individual scores and tie for 79th overall with a +50 score over the two days. 

The Women's Golf team will continue their season on Friday, September 13th as they look to host the Cleary University Invitational at Chemung Hills Golf Course in Howell, Michigan. Tee Time is scheduled for 9:30 AM.
