(Howell, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Women's Golf team took home a 1st place finish today at the Cleary University Invitational. They played at Chemung Hills Golf Course and would finish 21 strokes under the second-place finisher, Lourdes University. 

  • Lauryn Jerke would lead the Cougars with a score of 80 to take 3rd place overall. 

  • Madeline Swett would follow in 4th place after posting a round score of 82.

  • Alexis Sharplin would shoot an 84 to finish tied for 5th place.

  • Jessica Shay tied for 7th after shooting an 87. 

  • Jana L'Esperance would tie for 9th place overall after a round score of 89. 

The Women's Golf team looks to continue their fall season on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, as they travel to The Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, Michigan to take on the Lourdes Gray Wolf Invitational.
