(Lima, OH)-- The Cleary Cougar women's soccer team hit the road, and ran into a defensive wall, as they fell to the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers 5-0 Wednesday afternoon in Lima, Ohio.
The Racers sprinted out of the starting gate, scoring three goals in the game's first ten minutes. They would add a fourth in the 42nd minute, and scored a fifth in the 87th minute.
Tara McGrath suffered the loss in goal, making 7 saves on 12 shots.
Cleary drops to 2-11 overall, 0-6 in the WHAC. The Cougars will be back in action this Saturday, October 14, when the host the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils as part of Cleary's Homecoming celebration. The game will get underway at 7:00 PM at Lake Trust Stadium.
