(Rio Grande, OH)-- The Cleary Cougar women's soccer team wrapped up their weekend trip to Ohio with a non-conference game with the Rio Grande Red Storm.
The Red Storm's Amora Albano would get the hosts on the scoreboard in the 8th minute. Still leading through halftime and into the second half, Albano scored her second goal of the game in the 51st minute, and added a third in the 83rd minute.
Cleary was unable to find the necessary breakthrough, and the game would end with a 0-3 scoreline.
Bella Marsh suffered the loss in goal, making 3 saves on 5 shots faced. Beth Page allowed one goal in relief.
Rio Grande outshot the Cougars 9-6, with a 6-2 advantage with shots on target. The Red Storm also held a 4-3 advantage on corner kicks, while the Cougars committed 9 fouls to Rio's 5.
