Cougars Cross Country Competes at Lourdes' Terracotta Open
(Toledo, OH)— The Cleary Cougar men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Terracotta Open today, hosted by Lourdes University. Madonna University, University of Michigan-Dearborn, Siena Heights University, and Lourdes University competed in the race today, with both men's and women's races being a 5k.
In the women's race:
- Lauren Gores finished in 11th place overall for the women's race with a time of 21:27.42. Gores was the only runner for the Cougars, resulting in no team score for the women's team.
In the men's race:
- Leading the men's team with a time of 17:00.69 was Donovan White finishing 9th overall.
- Finishing right after White was Ethan Beres with a 10th place finish and a time of 17:01.16.
- Joel Hartleb finished with a time of 18:11.26 and in 25th place.
- Camden Staples finished shortly after Hartleb in 27th place with a time of 18:24.53.
- Stephen Bisard would finish next for the Cougar's with a time of 19:56.62
- Coming in after Bisard was Alex Misniakiewicz with a time of 21:11.49.
- Aden Michael finished the race with a time of 21:38.70.
- Wrapping it up for the men's team was Logan Betke and Christian Hammond with a time of 23:27.23 and 25:56.13, respectively.
The men's team finished 5th overall with a team score of 99 and a team time of 1:30:34.2.
Up Next: The cross country teams next race is the Lansing Community College Invite on September 30th, where the women's team will run at 12:30 PM and the men's team will run at 1:15 PM.
