Amy Jackson Cougar Spotlight
(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University women's basketball and women's bowler Amy Jackson is being recognized in this week's Cougar Spotlight.
Jackson, a junior transfer from Macomb Community College via Flat Rock, earned Cleary basketball's first ever double-double in the Cougars' loss at IU-Kokomo on Sunday. Jackson scored 11 points on 4-7 shooting (3-5 from 3-point range) while grabbing 10 rebounds, bot to lead the team. Her 10 rebounds were also a game high.
Jackson also had a busy weekend on the lanes, as she bowled in the WHAC's 1st and 2nd jamborees. She earned a 30th place finish on Friday after knocking down 764 pins, and a 45th place finish on Saturday after knocking down 668 pins while also helping Cleary to their best ever finish at a WHAC jamboree (4th place).
