Jessica Garmen Cougar Spotlight
(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University softball player Jessica Garmen is being recognized in this week's Cougar Spotlight.
Garmen, a graduate transfer from the University of Michigan via Waterford, Michigan, recorded hits in five out of six games last week, including 3 home runs. In Monday's game one vs. Rochester Christian, Garmen's two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth proved to be the game-winner, as the Cougars went on to win 4-2. She would hit a solo home run in game two against the Warriors. In Saturday's game one at Aquinas, Garmen would hit her third home run of the week when Cleary was down to their last out. She finished the week with 5 hits, 5 runs scored, 5 runs batted in, and four extra-base hits.
You can catch Garmen and the rest of the softball team in action this Wednesday, April 3, and Saturday, April 6, when they play at home against the UNOH Racers and Cornerstone Golden Eagles. For all Cleary Cougar news and updates, go to www.clearycougars.com.
