Koby Kebbe Cougar Spotlight
(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University hockey goalie Koby Kebbe is being recognized in this week's Cougar Spotlight.
Kebbe, a sophomore from Chesterfield, Michigan, started both games in between the pipes in a weekend series against the Eastern Michigan Eagles, and came away with two victories. In game 1 at EMU, Kebbe made 21 saves on 25 shots to help Cleary win 7-4. In game 2 at 140 Ice Den, Kebbe stopped all 31 shots on goal, and earned his 1st career shutout as a Cougar as part of a 5-0 win. It was only the second shutout in program history. Kebbe has now won three consecutive starts, and sports a 4-9 record.
The Cougar hockey team will be back in action this Friday and Saturday when they conclude WHAC play with a two game series against the 1st place UM-Dearborn Wolverines. Friday's game will be a home game at 140 Ice Den, with the puck dropping at 6:30 PM, and Saturday will be at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arean, and the puck drops at 7:00 PM
