Bio

Max Ballinger was named as Athletic Director on January 10, 2023.

He had been the Assistant Athletic Director since January 2020.  Ballinger previously worked at Macomb Community College where he was the Sports Information and Athletic Coordinator. He was responsible for managing athletic events, recording stats, social media, and maintaining the athletic website. Prior to Macomb Community College, Ballinger worked at Lansing Community College where he was the Assistant to the Athletic Director. His duties involved serving as game operations coordinator for all home athletic events and assisting in budgetary operations. 

Ballinger graduated from Cleary University in 2022 with a Master's in Culture, Change and Leadership.  He also graduated from Central Michigan University in 2016 with his Bachelor of Applied Arts in Sports Management. While in college, Ballinger served a student manager for the Central Michigan University Men's Basketball team and was a member of the 2015 MAC Championship team.

Ballinger is a native of St. Johns, Mich. and currently lives in Holt with his wife, Bre.
