Bob Fillipps is starting his twelth season as a member of the Cleary Cougar coaching staff, including 11 seasons as the head coach for women's golf.  He transitioned into his new role as assistant women's golf coach and director of golf operations in May 2024, where he will help the running of the multiple tournaments the Cougars host each season.

He has a long history of golf instruction serving as the head boys’ golf coach at Jefferson High School in Monroe, Michigan from 1981 to 2005 and as the head girls’ golf coach at Jefferson High School from 1985 to 1993.

He earned a Bachelor’s in Industrial Technology degree and a Master’s in Industrial Education/Vocational Education from Eastern Michigan University.
