Nate Raniszewski Cougar Spotlight

(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University baseball starting pitcher Nate Raniszewski is being recognized in this week's Cougar Spotlight.

Raniszewski, a junior from Redford, threw a complete game shutout as the Cougars defeated the host IUPU-Columbus Crimson Pride 3-0 Saturday afternoon.  Raniszewski went on the strike out 7, allowed 3 hits, and did not walk a batter in the 7-inning game.  For his efforts, he was named the WHAC's Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 27.

Cleary baseball now holds a 10-4 record, and swept the four-game series at IUPUC over the weekend.  The Cougars will look to stay hot, as they will play a double-header at Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky on Tuesday.
