Balanced Attack Helps Women's Soccer to 4-1 Win at CUAA
(Ann Arbor, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar women's soccer team kept their postseason hopes alive after cruising to a 4-1 win at Concordia Friday afternoon.

The lead would double six minutes later, when Tamara Trumic drove up the right side and centered a pass past teammate Mariah Krone, to the foot of Cristina de Miguel, who scored her fifth goal of the season, to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead. Concordia's defense would hold the Cougars off the scoreboard the rest of the half, and the score would remain 2-0 at the break.
Cleary would expand their lead in the first minute of second half action, when Payton Zeh received a perfect through ball from Emma Nobels to get behind the defense, and scored her second goal of the season, to give the Cougars a 3-0 laed. Mariah Krone would score her team leading sixth goal of the season ten minutes later, after another pass from Emma Nobels in the back line, and turned the defender, drove up the middle of the field, and chipped the goalie to give Cleary a 4-0 lead. Once again, the Cardinal defense settled in, and prevented the Cougars from expanding their lead. Late in the game, CUAA would score on a header to make it 4-1.
