Women's Soccer Recognized in WHAC Postseason Awards
(Howell, MI)-- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announed its 2025 season awards, and multiple Cougars have been recognized.
Earning Second-Team All-Conference was Chelsea Waller, who became only the second Cougar to be named to the first or second teams in WHAC play. Waller, a junior and transfer from Great Lakes Christian College, scored six goals to lead the Cleary attack with twelve total points. Four of those six goals were scored in WHAC play. The six goals is tied for the most in a single season with for a Cleary women's soccer player since the program joined the NAIA.
Also recognized was Agnes Snorradottir, who was named to the Newcomer Team. Snorradottir, a freshman from Iceland, was a standout center back for the Cougars this season, and was a key part in the team's defensive success before she was sidelined due to an injury.
Senior forward Taylor Franco was named to the Champion of Character team, for best representing the five core character values of the NAIA.
Also recognized were student-athletes who were named to the WHAC All-Academic Team. To be honored, student-athletes must have had at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have attended Cleary for at least one full year. They were (in alphabetical order):
